This was the first draft of the layout of the DPS, the pages themselves are not finished but I was using the draft to get a general idea of the layout of the pages, doing this meant that I could easily make any adjustments or changes needed. It also helped me to create a look for the magazine that I liked and used throughout the rest of the magazine.

This is almost the final product I just need to change some minor aligning issues and then the DPS page will be finished I chose to change the white background for a more greeny blue because of the page looking to harsh and sharp when the text and the images were included on the page. This created more of the feel that I was going for. I also changed the font of the titles to match my previous plans. I did not use all of the fonts that I had found but I stuck with 2 simple fonts for the magazine as I found this
made the magazine look better.
For this page is mostly use the move tools as well as the doge and the burn tool the page uses rulers to allow me to see exactly where the split in the page will be. I have also used the lasso tool as well as the paint brush to erase parts of the images using masking. This allowed me to be able to fine tune the page to get the exact look I was going for.
This is the final draft and nearing the end of the page design process, the page has been developed more to include several images into the design to fill up more of the space making the page fit together better with the rest of the magazine. I have also finalised the layout and the spacing of the different elements on the page.
This was the first draft of of the page I had again put in some basic layout and was
relatively happy with the page. I felt that the page was a bit empty and needed filling a
bit more to follow the codes and conventions of the other magazines that I had looked
at. The page had the same fonts and the same designs as the rest of the magazines
making the page fit into the other pages of the magazine. I have also used the rulers in
photoshop to correctly align the titles of the pages as well as the page numbers to
follow the trends of other magazines making my contents page more effective.

This is the final version of the page I have finalised and fixed all off the errors and the
layout issues as well as the spelling on the page I am happy with how the page looks
standalone and together in the magazine. The largest issue with the page was that I
had not yet been able to change the spacing and the margins so that they matched.
For this page I have mostly used the marquee selection tool as well and the text box and the coppring
tool to create the page.
This is the first draft of the front cover of the magazine. I have blocked out basics like the
text and the images on the page. I have not yet refined the placement of the images and the
text. I have decided on a basic colour scheme for the front of the magazine.
of the placement for the text and the images on the page. I have edited the main cover
image to look more natural in of the page.
I have also decided on the font that I want to use for the
front cover changing from my original plan.
This is the final version of the front cover I have been able to align to improve the
the magazines style and look. I have added a bar at the top of the page to create a better style
for the magazine I have also edited the main cover image to make it stand out more than the
rest of the page.
For this page I have again used the burn and the dodge tool to ensure that the image pops
out on the page which will then ensure that the main cover image is the highlight of the page.
